Install on Windows or Mac
Install Claudian, choose your note folder and connect supported AI applications.
Install the application
Download the Windows installer from the GitHub release. The NSIS wizard chooses whether the program is installed for your Windows account or all users, then where its program files live.
This location is for the application, not your notes. The package includes the Electron runtime, so it does not need you to install Node.js or run a batch file. The preview is unsigned; verify the release and its published checksum before running it.
Install on a Mac
Download the macOS disk image from the same release. One image runs on Apple silicon and Intel Macs with macOS 12 or later. Open it and drag Claudian into Applications.
Until the application is notarized by Apple, macOS stops the first launch. Open System Settings, then Privacy & Security, and choose Open Anyway for Claudian. Command-line sign-ins and the first review open in Terminal. Yüzük’s local recording engine is Windows-only for now.
Choose a note folder and AI applications
Open Claudian. It suggests detected note folders and AI configuration directories. Choose English or Turkish at the beginning of setup. Use the settings option to choose another folder or change the selected applications. The chosen language applies to the interface and newly generated protocol; existing notes are not translated. Detection is a suggestion, not proof that an AI application is installed or signed in.
Use the existing-notes option for a folder that already contains notes. Use the new-folder option for an empty location. Review the exact files before approving the connection. This approves local setup, not OAuth access to a provider account.
Start a new conversation
Restart the selected AI application so its startup instructions are loaded. Allow access to the chosen note folder if the application asks. No daily slash command is intended: the startup rule points the AI to the memory skill.
Connections shows a status card for each AI. Select a card to open its setup, read/write test and first-review report in a separate window. The app can open supported applications or a terminal; some hosts require pasting the instruction. Acknowledgements alone are not proof.
Already using a Claudian skill?
Setup reviews existing files and protects unrelated instructions. Removing a connection reverses the changes tracked by Claudian; externally modified files may require manual review. Note files remain yours and are not deleted with the connection. Differently named older memory skills may still need manual consolidation.
Do not use this installer as a vault migration tool. An older integration may still point at a different folder. Competing instructions are preserved and flagged for review; check that every integration points to the folder you intend to use.
Yüzük for Android
“Continue with cloud” is a beta option and is currently disabled. Recording uses your existing device connection.
On desktop, Add account (+) opens the provider sign-in so you can switch accounts. One local account is active at a time. Copy and open uses the installed client or its website when the client is unavailable.
